Question: How do I configure Eudora Light for Windows?
Answer:Eudora Light for Windows is very easy to install and configure. Just follow these instructions and you'll be sending and receiving email in no time! Installation:
|1||Under the Getting Started category, enter your "POP account" in the form loginID@hiwaay.net, where username is your Login ID from your signup sheet. Go ahead and fill in your "Real name," and make sure the settings under "Connection method" are set to Winsock.|
|2||Next, click on the Personal Information icon on the left. "POP account" and "Real name" should carry over from the previous window. In the "Return address" field enter your email address, in the form loginID@hiwaay.net. In the "Dialup Username" field enter just your LoginID.|
|3||Click on the Hosts icon. Once again, the "POP account" field should carry over. In the "SMTP" field, enter mail.hiwaay.net as shown below.|
|4||The next category, Checking Mail, contains some useful preferences. If you don't want to enter your password every time you check your mail, check the box next to "Save Password."|
